I have a problem with my newly assembled asus V2-M2V890 barebone and Windows Vista. When i power down the PC and i restart it, Vista re-detects several hardware components such as the onboard audio and lan cards. I flashed the bios from 201 to 401.
I installed Windows XP on the same machine and the problems are gone.
Could there be a reason you can think of that vista is re-detecting hardware after a cold start?
