Customize PWA and SharePoint project websites for Project Server 2013 RRS feed

  • Hi

    I want to Customize PWA and SharePoint project website related to the projects, when we create a new enterprise project or Sharepoint List project it should create the porject and its project site from a template with following:

    - Custom Enterprise Custom Fields and Lookup Tables

    - Custom Issues list columns in the project SharePoint project site

    Please advise in how to?

  • Hi there,

    See the steps below:

    • Navigate to PWA
    • Click the gear in the top right hand corner
    • Click Site Contents
    • Scroll down to the Subsites section and click new sub site
    • Give it a name and URL etc.
    • Select Project Site template from the Collaboration tab
    • Click OK
    • One the new sub site click the gear in the top right hand corner
    • Click Site Settings
    • Under Site Actions, click Manage Site Features
    • Activate the Project Web App Connectivity feature
    • Now customise the site as required - remember not to delete any default lists or fields in those lists
    • Once complete save site as a template then associate this template to the required EPT's on the PWA Settings page
