User not showing up in Address book, only when searching under "more columns". RRS feed

  • Hi, We just changed a users Display name and alias in AD. Now we can only see her in the address book when searching under more columns. Has anyone seen this before?

    Does the issue occur on owa?

    Please run the below command to update the OAB:

    Update-OfflineAddressBook -Identity "My OAB

    On client side, download the latest address book to check if the issue persists.

  • Did you wait for next OAB generation and then downloaded it in the outlook?

    Alternatively, do you find user in OWA address book?

  • Hello, Sorry for the late reply. Yes I waited for OAB update, I even forced OAB update. No this does not happen when checking in OWA. Only when you check from Outlook. I have also tried from 3 different machines. All the same thing.
