    CDPUserSvc_37be4

    A couple of post that are related, my response to those;

    What is the CDPUsersvc for ?

    CDPUserSvc_3e64b is svchost.exe -k UnistackSvcGroup. Looking at that with Process Explorer, under the Services tab of the Properties of that process;

    OneSyncSvc_3e64b Sync Host_3e64b

    This service synchronizes mail, contacts, calendar and various other user data.
    Mail and other application dependent on this functionality will not work
    properly when this service is not running.

    PimIndexMaintenanceSvc_3e64b Contact Data_3e64b

    Indexes contact date for fast contact searching. If you stop or disable this
    serice, contacts might be missing from you search results.

    UnistoreSvc_3e64b User Data Storage_3e64b

    Handles storage of structed user data, including contact info, calendars,
    messages and other content. If you stop or disable this service, apps that use
    this data might work correctly.

    UserDataSvc_3e64b User Data Access_3e64b

    Provides apps with access to structured user data, including contact info,
    calendars, messages and other content. If you stop of disable this service,
    apps that use this data might not work correctly

    Also has a https connection MS server, so looking it is OneDrive \ contacts related. Properly could do with some finishing touches on the service...

  • Notice the underscore and letters and numbers following each of the service names. This means that there is a service with that name and then a secondary one with the weird underscore and letters/numbers. So thank you for explaining what the services are, but what is the meaning when it has the underscore, etc following the service name?

  • The process is Svchost.exe for all the services, The term SvcHost,
    also known as svchost.exe or Service Host, is a process used to host one or more Windows operating system services.
    The svchost.exe Microsoft Windows executable file is labeled as: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services.
    This is a required Windows file and is used to load needed DLL files that are used with
    Microsoft Windows and Windows programs that run on your computer.
    This file is located in either the c:\windows\system32 or c:\winnt\system32 directories depending on your version of Windows
    and may also be located in the dllcache directory if present.
    Because svchost.exe is used as a common system process,
    some malware often uses a process name of “svchost.exe” to disguise itself,
    Any file named “svchost.exe” located in other folder can be considered as a malware.

    To remove the SvcHost.exe malware, follow these steps:
    STEP 1: Use Rkill to terminate the SvcHost.exe Fake Windows Process
    STEP 2: Use Malwarebytes to remove SvcHost.exe malware
    STEP 3: Use HitmanPro to scan for SvcHost.exe virus
    STEP 4: Use Zemana AntiMalware Free to remove Potentially Unwanted Programs
    (OPTIONAL) STEP 5: Double-check for malicious programs with Emsisoft Emergency Kit
    (OPTIONAL) STEP 6: Reset your browser to default settings

    RKill and Zemana Antimalware free

    Download the premium trial version of Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro
