Project Professional Client - project Server - Access RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have installed Project Server 2010 in one computer, installed Project Professional client in another computer. I was trying to access Project Server from Project Professional client computer but it didn't work. While adding an account in Project Professional, I included URL like this...http://<ipadress>/pwa. these computers are connected to a switch ( formed a LAN network ). Could you please help me how to access Project Server from Project Professional.

    Thanks.

  • Couple of points:

    - Is the PWA url a trusted site?

    - When you access the URL, are you prompted for any alerts? (both on the server and client)

  • Hi,

are you able to access your PWA page using this URL? usually the URL to access PWA looks like:

    http://<server-name:port>/PWA

also verify the version of proj prof you are using to connect with Project Server 2010?
