  • I assume that you are asking about the order in which an HIS Server will look to find what resources (LUs) can be accessed by user requesting a session. LUs can be assigned to user accounts, group, or workstations (Machine name, IP Address, IP Subnet, MAC Address).

    The following article explains how the priority is for resources assigned to user accounts/groups:

    On the Workstation Properties dialog, there are additional options that can be used to control the access.

    o Workstation and user resources - This will accumulate the resources assigned to the user/group record and the workstation record.
    o Workstation resources only - User will only get the resources assigned to the workstation

    The default option when creating a Workstation record is that the user will have access to the Workstation and user resources.
