    Hi I have just bought a PB EasyNote TE With Windows 8 Upgraded to Windows 8 Pro. My Problem is that I cannot access the CD drive from boot up, I get the message" CD Rom Blocked by the current security policy" I have no problem accessing it once the computer has booted to desktop.I have checked the Local Security Policy but nothing seems to help Someone suggested  I needed to upgrade the Bios but I need to know which file to download and will this solve my problem?

    Sounds like you need to disable Secure Boot in the firmware. If you're
    unsure of how to do this then you should contact Packard Bell support.
