Alternate Access mappings, crawl and claims authentication RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    we run sharepoint 2007.

We have the following alternate access mappings:

    http://intranet (default)

    http://intranet.domain.tld (extranet)

We want users both inside and outside organisation to hit intranet.domain.tld, so we made a IIS redirect from intranet -> intranet.domain.tld.

Intranet.domain.tld is using claims based authentication.

But after we made this work, i just figured the search have not crawled since it was introduced.

The crawler tries to hit: http://intranet, but in the log i can see: site not found or access denied.

I have tried to change to: https://intranet.domain.tld, but same result.

How can i crawl the entire site, but without using claims login?

Just by using the "default" sharepoint search user?
