AD FS 2012 Proxy RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I want to configure a proxy server for my AD FS..

Can anyone tell me whether I can use any proxy server or do I have to install a dedicated Web Application Proxy for AD FS?

    Thank you!

  • I don't think I understand it all the way..

I read that it is possible to use TMG and not Web Application Proxy server.

the TMG is located in my DMZ, do I need to have Web Application Proxy server in my domain???

because you say I have to use it...

    Thanks!

  • The Web Application Proxy could be in a workgroup. However, if you want to publish non-claim aware application, your Web Application Proxy needs to be a member of the forest.
