No ringback when transferring from Exchange 2013 AA RRS feed

  • Good morning!

    I'm having an issue at multiple clients all related to the same thing.  

    The call flow is PSTN->Adtran SBC->3CX PBX->Exchange->3CX

    When a call transfers out from an Exchange AA there is no ringback provided.  At one of the locations, the transfer can take long enough (a call ringing to a call queue) that they have patients hanging up because they believe they've been disconnected.

    If I call on a DID directly to the same extension I get ringback throughout the process.

    SIP traces on the SBC look the same in both cases so it seems pretty clear that the problem is between 3CX and Exchange 2013.  I would appreciate any guidance on this

  • Have you found a solution,

    Maybe something with the SIP 108/183 on the invite or you can check the 3cx early media settings.
