Windows Update Doesn't work Windows 7 HP Pavillion dv7 RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I recently got a new laptop. Everything worked fine, until I looked at the Windows Update section. Every single time it says that the process wasn't able to start and I should restart the computer. Than does not help.

    My specs:

    CPU

    Intel Core i7 720QM  @ 1.60GHz

    Clarksfield 45nm Technology

    RAM

    4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 661MHz (9-9-9-24)

    Motherboard

    Hewlett-Packard 1449 

    Graphics

    Monitor generico Plug and Play (1600x900@60Hz)

    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650  

    Hard Drives

    977GB Western Digital WDC WD10TPVT-65HT5T0 (SATA)

    Optical Drives

    hp CDDVDW TS-L633N

    Audio

    IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

  • were you able to fix this problem.  have had my hp pavillion dv7 for nearly two years now and it is still not fixed.  hp just fob me off and have done so isnce day one.  they get me to wipe it back to factory settings which still leaves me with the problem
