Can't connect to the internet RRS feed

  • Question

  • I don't know if its a protection issue or the fact that I have configured a domain for my development and testing environment. But I can't browse any page on my Windows Server 2008.

I've set the Windows Firewall to accept inbound and outbound connections, but I got no result.

    What do you suggest?

  • Hi Juliano,

I think you may have the wrong forum for your question. The Network Access Protection forum is for questions about setting up network policy server (NPS) to evaluate health of client computers on the network.

It sounds like your question might be IIS related if you are having trouble browsing Web pages on your server. The IIS Forums might be a better place to request help.

A few helpful suggestions I have for you are:

    1. Check to see if you can get to the server's IP address using tools such as traceroute.
    2. Check DNS resolution by testing to see if you can reach the server by name.
    3. Determine if the IIS service is working by opening a browser connection on the server itself to http://localhost.

    I hope this helps,
