    # One step back in the folder hierarchy
    cd ..
    
    # Go to Drive root
    cd \

  • Use "Run as Adminisrator" to launch PowerShell.

    Edit: You should be able to right click "PowerShell" (or select it on a tablet) and select "Run as Administrator".

    I meant that, once launched, how to I go from PS C:\Users\Steve> to PS C:\>

    In Command Prompt, for instance, I would type in cd/ as in C:\Users\Steve>cd/
