  • Question

  • hallo

I need to instal IE 8   on my system win.7  32 bit

    is it possible?

because I've tried nearly all the downloads that I found  on the official page and my win7 says:

internet explorer 8 is not supported on this operating system

    thanks

IE9 was added as an update to your OS and can be removed as such, thus returning you to your previous level of browser functionality, IE8.   Tip:   to find it, open  View Installed Updates, press Ctrl-e and type: I* E* 9
If you see something that appears only as  Microsoft Windows (1)  that would mean that updates were being listed "collapsed", so expand it.

No you don't.   IE8 is the built-in level of browser functionality for that OS.   Hint:  Open Windows Features and see if there is a checkmark on the  Internet Explorer  item.   If you need more help tell us what the state of that item is (including the version declared there) and tell us what your problem symptoms are instead of problems that you are having with your self-prescribed resolution attempts.
