Updates fail to download, connection to MS Update fails

    Question

  • Windows 10 computers show updates available but never get beyond 0% while on network. Updates work outside of corporate network.

    Does MS blacklist IPs?

Is there a way to contact MS for further assistance?

Who owns the computers, you or the corporation?  While on the corporate network there is most likely an update server so you'd have to contact your network administrator.  If this is for your personal computer why not just update "outside of corporate network" as a rule?

Fairly certain they don't for updating purposes and that what you're seeing is related to your corporate network.  Again, unless you choose to update "outside of corporate network,"  you'll have to contact your network administrator.

  • These are on a corporate domain. Do use WSUS but certain computers are kept separate for testing updates.
