    Hi All,

     

    I have installed Longhorn Beta 3 on my laptop and it's working perfectly. There is only one problem. It doesn't read the wireless connections within the area. I have installed the latest driver for the wireless network card in my laptop but still doesn't recognize any of the wireless networks within the area. I've a wireless broad router and it used to worked very well with Windows XP. Please help me to sort this out.

    Hi Nilanka,

    I've also included Ambrish's instructions below:

    • While running as administrator, go to server manager -> features summary -> add features -> "wireless networking"
    • (alternatively, you can also proceed from "control panel" -> add programs -> "turn windows features on or off' -> this will take you to server manager and then proceed as above.
    • Once windows completes installing this service, then you should be able to see available SSIDs and connect to them.
