Had problem with server OS after teh os repair it removed the IIS virtual directories of exchange server 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to reconfigure the IIS / default web sites' virtual directories of exchange server 2007.

Had a problem with OS and repaired after teh repair all messed up with IIS, no more virtual directories i see.

When i try to open exchange server console, it get warnings saying all virtual directories missing.

I am able to mount the database .edb file. but with warnings.

Thank you very much for the helpful info.

  • New-OabvirtualDirectory Should help You.

    For Example ,

New-OwaVirtualDirectory -OwaVersion “Exchange2007″ -Name “owa (Default Web Site)”

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123735(EXCHG.80).aspx

If you have anyother Exchange 2007 in  your Environment

Try Get-OwaVirtualDirectory to Get an Idea for all the other Virtual Directories

This Might work or may not . just a Try.

It really depends how much mess happened with the IIS.

Or Try Reinstalling Exchange 2007 Client Access Role alone
