microsoft outlook 2010 cannot sign or encrypt this message because there are no certificates; how to fix it? I use Window 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Everytime I try to send an e-mail OUTLOOK 2010 WINDOWS 7, I get the following message:

Outlook cannot sign or encypt this e-mail, because there are no certificates which can be used to send from the e-mail address. Either get a new digital ID to use with this account or use the accounts button to send this message using an account that you have certificates.

I tried to right click on contacts, select properties. On the Outlook address book tab, make sure that "Show this folder as e-mail address book." this solution did not work with me. I am having a hard time with this, because I have to go in security and click off the encrypt button and the security button to be able to send the e-mail.
