Using a single ADFS Farm when on selling Exchange online RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am very new to Exchange Online as we have only one Client using it so far.  However we have a number of smaller Clients that we would like to migrate across and they are too small for their own ADFS setup (cost wise), and want to clarify that they can be added to my existing ADFS Farm as top level Domains, and is this the best practice?  If not how do you configure multiple Domains in one ADFS Farm?  Due to all the Domains being separate they can't be sub-Domains of the parent.

    Thanks Mark.

  • Hi Tumbi1, it´s not a good idea to consolidate all the domains in one ADFS as is not a good practice. Anyway, you don´t need ADFS to implement Exchange Online on your customers organizations if you don´t plan to use an hybrid implementation.

I think that the cloud based Exchange online is the best solution you can implement for your scenario because you can have mutiple domains inside a single portal and adminístrate them all without the need of aditional costs (ADFS servers).

    Hope it helps.
