Default Window Size Annoyance RRS feed

  • Question

  • This is pretty much the only major issue that I have with Vista, and it's a big deal because it's a MAJOR annoyance.

Vista is the only version of Windows that I have ever used that doesn't remember the default window size, icon settings, and view settings of the regular windows explorer windows.

I've looked all over the internet for solutions for this, and NONE of them work.  It's extremely frustrating.  Why is it that in Vista, the default window size is smaller, but the icons are way bigger?

Is there a registry fix for this?  Will SP1 correct this?  There has to be SOMETHING that can fix this!
