Microsoft Project 2010 - Convert hours field Work in Days RRS feed

    You can convert the hours of Labor Day field? If yes, what formula to use in this conversion?

  • Hi,

    First you can go to the file/option menu/schedule to display the work in hours or days depending on your need.

    Then if you want to have both in your project plan, you can create a number custom field (rolled up to sum) with the formula:

    [work] /(8*60)
    • Work being the work field in hours.
    • 8 being the number of working hours per day defined in your options
    • 60 because the work baisc units are minutes
