HELP.... Engine update errors RRS feed

  • Hello Everyone:

     

    I'm having this strange problem with Microsoft Forefront Protection for SharePoint 2010. The engines are not able to update and I am getting following 2 errors continuesly one after each other.

    Error 1
    =========================================================

    "Microsoft Forefront Protection encountered an error while performing a scan engine update.

    Scan Engine: Kaspersky

    Update Path: http://forefrontdl.microsoft.com/server/scanengineupdate/amd64/Kaspersky

    Proxy Settings: Enabled

    Error Code: 0x80004005

    The digital signature associated with the engine manifest file is either missing or invalid, or the file is corrupt. (0x800b0003) The form specified for the subject is not one supported or known by the specified trust provider. Unable to setup a trust provider.

     

    Error 2
    ========================================================

    Microsoft Forefront Protection encountered an error while performing a scan engine update.

    Scan Engine: Kaspersky

    Update Path: http://forefrontdl.microsoft.com/server/scanengineupdate

    Error Detail: An error occurred during the download procedure.

     

     I'm getting these errors for all engines. When I access http://forefrontdl.microsoft.com/server/scanengineupdate from the browser, it says "403 - Forbidden: Access Denied"

    Though the internet itself is working on proxy and I am able to access all other websites.

    Please help me out on this.
