Symantec Netbakup install failed RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to upgrade a Symantec Netbackup client to version 7.6.1.2 on more than 30 Windows 2008R2 Enterprise Servers. Most of them were successful but 4 servers returned error. I have asked Symantec support for help. After they checked everything and the log files, they saild that there were something wrong whith the MSI file and told us to seek Micorosft support. What I am thinking is if the MSI file corrupted, none of the upgrade would be success. I'm stuck in between Symantec and Microsoft. Is there any way to prove the MSI is ok?
