SharePoint 2010 provide summary task content type, which map to outline level task in project, it will be a folder in SharePoint site, and open it to check the subtask.

  • Is there an answer that is relevant to SharePoint 2013?  The Task structure is no longer folder based, and a VBA hack for something that should work out of the box isn't viable for a synced project file that multiple people will be using.

I have tried using passing the value as text in Text1 via a formula that points to Outline Level, but Project 2013 will not sync formula based columns for project.

Any ideas? If I figure get it working I will post the 2013 based solution here.
