Windows Update Client successfully detected 0 updates. RRS feed

  • Hello All,

    I'm facing windows update issue and need your help, please. WSUS working fine as per event log.

     

    it was working fine but since 2 months the clients can't be updated and they always showing no updates available which wrong: 

    

    from C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log  , Windows Update Client successfully detected 0 updates.

    1) Restarted WSUS server but same behavior.<o:p></o:p>

    2) I've deleted SoftwareDistribution and check updates but same behavior.<o:p></o:p>

    3) I’ve tried both commands from clients but same behavior:  

    wuauclt /resetauthorization and wuauclt /detectnow 

    4) Reindexed the WSUS Database but same behavior

    WSUS server: windows 2008 R2, WSUS 3.0.SP2
    
    - TargetGroup:  prod
    
    - TargetGroupEnabled :  1
    
    - WUServer:   http://wsus.domain.com
    
    - WUStatusServer:   http://wsus.domain.com

    Please suggest help

    Please make sure the followings are correctly.

    1. The updates have been approved correctly.

    2. The client computer is assigned in the correct computer group.

    3. The update files have been downloaded successfully. You can verify it by checking the icon in the column for File Status.

  • Hi Andy Liu,

    The update files have not been downloaded successfully , pending 4200 files to download.now it's starting after run the command netsh winhttp reset proxy ( my wsus has direct access to internet by the way)
