Merging tables with Power Query RRS feed

  • Quick questions folks. I have 2 files (tables) from different folder, I merged them together. Then, I receive files with different name next month. So, how do I use the same query to perform the same job as I did previously without creating new query again? Thanks.

  • You need to merge the latest files only and they are in the separate folders? then you can select the latest file by date when you connected to the folder (for the each folder) before merging.

    If your files are in the same folder, then you need to find a logic which will describe how to select the files you need. Please add more details. May be you have a date in the file name, or something like that. Or just take two latest files (sort by date, leave two rows in the folder connection)
