Non-system disk error RRS feed

  • Question

  • After waiting several hours for my PC to shut down I gave up and powered it
off. Now when I boot I get a "Non-system disk" error. If I boot to a last
known configuration it works for that session until I reboot and get the
    non-system disk error again.
How do I get it to recognize my Vista OS? This is a home-built PC on Vista
Ultimate. My last hardware change was a new video card last month. I did a
system restore to that time but still get the error.
