MRAN Time Machine not working RRS feed

  • Question

  • THe MRAN Time Machine seems to be down. Cannot access any snapshots at all. Not even through webbrowser. Anyone heard something about this. If anyone from MSFT sees this do you have an ETA on when this will be fixed?

  • I'm having the same issue. The error message that I'm getting is:

Warning: unable to access index for repository https://mran.microsoft.com/snapshot/2017-05-01/bin/windows/contrib/3.3:
      cannot open URL 'https://mran.microsoft.com/snapshot/2017-05-01/bin/windows/contrib/3.3/PACKAGES'

  • Same here. Does anyone know if there's a mirror around?

I assume it's in the lap of the gods, but does anyone have an ETA on a fix?

  • Same here. I'm forcing R Studio to use the CRAN mirror. E.g:

    install.packages('RMySQL', repos='http://cran.us.r-project.org')

    Otherwise...

  • Looks like it back up again. Not sure what time it came back up, but it does have a snapshot for today (5 Jan 2018):
