Virtual w7 pro on Hyper-V using, Excel use only one core when macro calculates RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a virtual win7 pro  installed on a Hyper-V host (2008 R2). Our planner uses this remote desktop only ones in a week to calculate a huge xslm spreadsheet. But when excel is going to calculate, it's only using one core for 10 seconds and rotates every 10 seconds to another core while the other 7 cores doing nothing.

Is there a solution to use all the cores at the same time for calculating the spreadsheet? I've tried the processor options in Excel but that doesn't help.
