From the task manager ccmsetup runs and exits, and I even can see the Config Manager on the Control Panel.

However, I thought I should now see ccmexec in the Task Manager.

Plus, on the console the Clients still have a NO status.

  • The log look fine. Once the client is install and completed it will take a while for the pc to do all of its inventory items. Since it has been a few hours since you posted this, are things fine now?

  • Maybe I should have added that  am running it in a tested environment on VM's.

Because it has been a few days. Any other logs I can look at?

  • A VM will only make a difference if the Host if overloaded, even then in a few days it would be completed.

What exactly are you seeing in CM12?, Post a screenshot.

Are you seeing any results when you start the Resource Explorer?

Is the client assigned to the site?

    What exactly are you boundaries?

Looking at the client's inventoryagent.log has anything occurred?

  • The above logs is for client installation and apparently the agent installed without problem. Thus, the problem may be with client communicating with a management point issue.

Please review log file locationservice.log, ccmmessaging.log, clientidmanagerstartup.log to be sure client can find a working management point and can successfully register.

  • So I can see they have be assigned to any site.

Plus Resource Explorer doesn't show anything.

    Here are my boundaries:

  • Exame client-side logs then: ccmmessaging, locationservices and clientlocation.log first.

  • Use CMTRACE (sccminstallfolder\tools)

CcmSetup is exiting with return code 0 - installation is OK, check Control panel for option "Configuration manager"

  • 1. ccmexec may don't exist.

    2. Appearing in console may take some time, go to control panel\configuration manager and manually run all actions. Wait for 10 - 20 minutes and check console.
