Problems with my Windows 2012 Server / Active Directory

    Question

  • Hi there!

    I'm having some kind of problems with my Windows 2012 server. After some days (4 to 5) the server begins to slow down and I can't login again besides I restart it with a hard boot (pressing the power button :( ).

    I think it's related to the DNS and active directory setup. I'm not an expert with this and I'm almost sure that my configuration are not good.

    Also, this is a new server and maybe I made something wrong when I migrate the old one to this one. I have no more access to the old server.

    This is the result from ipconfig /all :

  • Two things;

    1.) Server should have a single ip address so remove these two

       IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.156(Preferred)
       IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.157(Preferred)

    2.) Server should have own address for DNS and no others such as router or public DNS so remove the 8.8.8.8
