Log of emails sent by Sp2007 workflows? RRS feed

  • We have workflows that show they have completed successfully. The last step of the workflow is to send & email with form data to a user. Users were reporting they did not getting emails. I have figured out why they did not get emails and remedied the problem. I want to know if there is a log anywhere so I can see all emails sent on the day the problem ocurred and verify with our exchange administrator that they were actually sent.

    You can configure your workflow to generate such logs.

    However if you are using OOB worklow then this should be enlisted while checking workflow status of an item.

  • They are custom workflows, and I have them "log" an entry that the workflow completed.

    The issue here is the workflow says it completed and part of the workflow is to send an email. No emails were received by users. So The workflow says it sent it, exchange shows no email requests from the server. So I figure there would be a log somewhere saying "workflow GUID sent email, could not find server" or something to that affect.
