How to increase maximum concurrent TCP connections RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

Hope some can help; I am trying to use IPERF from one XP machine to a Linux box...we have tested loads going up to 5 (-P5) outgoing connections using XP but now we want to move on to 8...but the connection keeps bottoming out for 3 of them. We have tried 6 and 7, again same problem, anything 5+ says  "broken pipe" We beleive it is a problem in windows limiting the the maximum number of simultaneous/concurrent TCP connections.

    Thanks in advance

    Kind Regards

    PJ
