Windows 10 Home boots from hidden Network RRS feed

  • Question

  • Was supposed to be a new installation for a home computer that is not connected to any networks.

UEFI settings show that pc boots from a network.

    Secure boot state is OFF

    BitLocker will not run

    Have had professional antivirus run

Group Policy has been applied and configured as a shared service - no loopback mode.

Can any professional advise what can be seen on my pc if I am connected to a network.

    Thank you

  • Hi,

How do you deploy your Windows 10 system?

Network boot can be used for WDS to deploy Windows system. One scenario is that if you have previously configured a WDS server in your environment, connect your computer to the network where the WDS server is located, then your computer will re-deploy system.

    Best Regards,
