Cisco Anyconnect and MSOffice 2013 RRS feed

  • My office has now installed Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and we can access office network through the VPN network.

    However, everytime I am connected to the VPN through this Client, MS Outlook as well as MS Excel stop working.

    These programs freeze with a message "....has stopped working", and restart with all work lost.

    My IT support team has reinstalled both office 2013 as well as Cisco AnyConnect Client, but the problem continues. I run windows 7.

    The Office (Outlook+Excel 2013) works fine when not connected on VPN

    Some suggestions regarding the crash issue:

    1. Start Office Programs as administrator to check the result.

    2. Start Office programs in safe mode to check the result.

    Actually this problem is clearly related to the VPN, we can also contact the provider of it to ask whether there is any setting that may block the access to the Internet from Office.
