RCC Integration with Lync and CUCM RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I would like to know the main required steps to implement RCC integration between Lync 2013 standard and Cisco Call manager.

I know the Software requirements such as the CUPS, RCC plugin and Cisco call manager version but I need the steps in the correct sequence.

Do I need to follow Cisco's integration guide? It seems long and lots of things to do on Cisco call manager side.

    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cups/8_6/english/integration_notes/IntegrationNote_CUP86_MicrosoftLyncServer2010_RCC.html

I have also check Microsoft's Tech article on how to do so but It doesn't seem there's anything to do on Cisco side, as if Microsoft is trying to avoid getting involved in Cisco at all while Cisco guide mention the required steps needed to do on Lync server.

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg558664.aspx

If someone could highlight for me the main required steps on each device and server by the correct order I'd really appreciate that a lot.

    Thanks.

  • Here is guidance from Microsoft Lync server 2010

However since your requirement is for RCC with cisco call manager

And Cisco call manager in this instance will fork the call

I would recommend following Cisco Guidance
