    Does anyone know of a way to write a script to change Outlook options? Specifically in Outlook if you go to File -> Options -> Search, there is an option that says "Include messages from the Deleted items folder in each data file when searching All items" and this option by default is not checked. I need to find a way to push to all my users that will check this box.

    Hi,

    You may be able to achieve this by Registry and GPO.

    1. Open the registry and navigate to: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\X.0\Outlook\Search
    2. Create a new key in this path.
      Name: IncludeDeletedItems
      Type: REG_DWORD
      Key: 1


    (Important： Follow the steps above carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.)
