    I am a Certified PC Service and Repair Tech. I am running Windows 10 Pro Anniversary Edition. I know that  the apps Quick Assist and Remote Desktop Connection are included. I know that Remote Assistance was included in earlier versions of Windows. I know that Quick Assist replaced Remote Assistance. Can I connect to another user who is NOT running Windows 10 but an earlier version of Windows?If so, how do I establish a remote connection?

    Hi,

    Yes, you can.

    Even though Quick Assist app doesn’t exist in previous Windows version, we still can use traditional remote method, Remote Desktop Connection.

    Type MSTSC in the search box, then remote your another computer like before.
