Hyper-V replica RRS feed

  • Question

  • My Manager asked me to install windows server on two machines that runes Hyper-v and he wants these two Hyper-V connected to each other backing up each other and if the primary goes down the second one will starts automatically, I ask him if he wants a failover system he refused the idea because the failover cluster uses one shared storage which he doesn't like. is there and way to connect two hyper-v together like he wants? and if there are such a thing, what are the steps for that?

  • Hi,

You probably want to post this in the server section, or if there is one, a hyper-V section. This section is for Internet Explorer, and the people who  frequent this forum may not be the most knowledgeable about Hyper-V to assist you.
