How can I edit calendar entries (time and date) in MS Access? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to edit/ create new calendar entries in my SP calendar using MS Access. I can enter/ modify the date (start time) but not the time. Hence all new events are created as day events. Is there a way to add both date and time?

  • Hi hhh2009,

When creating new calendar entries in SharePoint Calendar using MS Access, in the date/time field, it is indeed just a calendar icon and no time choices to choose. The time is set to the default time of SharePoint Calendar new item (general 12:00 AM).

In MS Access, it provides time reversal, that is when you type 16:00 and press Enter, it will be 4:00:00 PM. If convenient, you can type the time manually. There is a keyboard shortcuts to enter the current time: [ctrl]+: (colon)

    Thanks, sorry for the inconvenience.
