2 Scorecards, 1 Filter, 1 MDX script and 0 Function RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Experts,

Today I built one dashboard with two scorecards.

    First Scorecard looks like this:

                       Name1          Name2          Name3

    New              5                  2                  2

    Old               3                  5                  2

    Gave away     1                  3                  0

    Lost              2                  0                  7

The second one looks like this:

                       2000   2001   2002   2003 …

    Name1                           ..        ..        ..

Name2                 ..        ..        ..        (used same KPI like the first scorecard)

    Name3                 ..        ..        ..

For example the user would like to look after when Name3 lost his 7 Articles.

Then he has to click at the right cell and the scorecard two reacts of this click.

I worked with filter link and the follow mdx script:

    Code Block

    [myDimension1].[Time].[Year].AllMembers on columns,

    [myDimension2].[Person].CurrentMember on rows

    from [myCube]

    where [Measures].[myCount]

The scorecard two is created new but without any reacts of the click.

    Settings of the Filter Link:

    Dashboard Item Endpoint: tried all

    Source Value: Cell Display Value

    Have someone a good idea?

    What made me wrong?

    Best regards,

  • After built my thread the thread didn’t show at the forum. That’s the reason why I built the same thread three times.

I deleted the other ones. Sorry for the disorder.

  • Alex, where abouts are you using that MDX query?

  • Hello Nick,

I defined a Filter Link from scorecard one to scorecard two.

    The settings were:

    Dashboard Item Endpoint: tried all

    Source Value: Cell Display Value

And in the Formula Editor I entered this MDX code.

I tested some other MDX scripts but it seems that the report two didn’t react of the different MDX scripts.

Hope this make my problem more clearly.

    Best Regards,
