Running script closes powershell RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I try to run a script from Powershell ISE powershell closes as soon as I hit F5 or click the go arrow. This behavior has just recenlty started, it hasn't always been this way. Any ideas on what/where I need to look to stop this from happening?

  • I don't seem to have any issues running the powershell command window, it just appears to be the ISE. I don't see any errors, when I am working in the ISE I don't see any errors either, it's just every so often if I try to run a script or even just recently I tried editing a script and when I hit the enter key the ISE closed.

  • Does that happen with any code, or just a/some specific?

  • Do you have an exit command anywhere? That could cause the ISE to close.
