Windows 8 battery status plug in, not charging

    Question

  • I just recently reset my whole HP laptop and I notice that my battery status is still low so I clicked on it and it says 0% available plug in , not charging. I don't know what to do with the problem.

    Based on your description, Most probably rather certainly its a problem caused by the battery of laptop.

    The integrity of the battery is doubtful. Changing the battery or getting the battery cell recharged by some hardware expert will resolve this matter.

    Also try to uninstall the battery in the device manager, reboot and let Windows install the battery again and check the result.
