I am getting error "data concistency check failed" while taking backup with Symantec Backup Executive.

Error Messae :--

"Job ended: Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 12:48:19 PM
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe000032d - The consistency check of the snapshot for the Microsoft Exchange transaction log has failed. You should check for possible data corruption in the transaction log that is online.
Final error category: Resource Errors"

Did you run eseutil /mh against the mailbox databse. if it gives healthy info then no issue with DB. To replay all logs dismount databse for a while and mount it again, Later you can take backup thru NTbackup then again take backup with synmantec software.

I just search it and get tech article of Symantec.
Backing up Exchange 2007 GRT with Consistency Check fails with "0xe000032d - The consistency check of the snapshot for the Microsoft Exchange transaction log has failed." and "-501 The log file is corrupt'"

You probably have configured Symantec BE to a consitency check toether with the backup. Thats OK. The problem is that the check fails. This cuold be a serious problem or just a flaw together with BE.
Try hat Anil said and also do a restart of Volume shadow copy service and Exchange replication service.
