  • Hi,

    I Need to secure access to one the workstation in network sharing the action items below

    1- Local users created and added in Administrator's group- This is done
    2- Need to Disable Copy and Paste option
    3- Need to Disable Copy and Paste option when PC RDP session is live
    4- Disable Printscreen option
    5- Disable Print option
    6- Disable External USB storage devices - This is done

    For action Items 1 to 5 I searched a lot for any GPO or Registry settings but none is there for Windows 10 Pro.

  • Hi Atul,

    Let's confirm your 2&3. Did you want to disable the "Copy and Paste" on the local computer or in RDP?

    If it's RDP, you just uncheck "Clipboard"option in RDP:

    You can also disable the printer in there.

    Thanks for your inputs, but I want to completed block copy/paste.

    As if it is unchecked then it can be again checked back and enable clipboard.

    No group policy to disable the clipboard redirection.

    In order to disable clipboard redirection you have to kill the rdpclip.exe process in the remote session. You can do this by writing a batch file that kills that process and using it as a login script for the remote session.

    For details, you can ask in script from to know how to write the exact script to achieve it.
