  • Document library is repository of documents. if your SC document library is without folders then use content query web part in sub-site to access SC Doc. Lib.

  • Hi,

You can use SharePoint Client Object Model for access Site Colection library inside your sub site. you can also use Javascript API's by Daren John and work with your SPD.

Site collection document library means there is a document library inside the site collection. Read this article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262215.aspx to learn about document library.

  • Hi,

There is no Out of the box solution available for cross site document/list view and as rightly suggested by Vivek we need to work with Objectmodel to develop a solution.

PLese follow the link below(Blog from Ram G.), it helped for me too in similar kind of scenario with custom list view webpart

    Hope it helps !!!

  • Hi

If you don't want to use code solution you can use spd2010 as long as the lists or libraries are in the same site collection.

    Hope this will help.
