Winkey shortcut work even though disabled RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have a LG R510 laptop, and at some point the winkey started to act as if pressed constantly. It happened both in Windows 7 and Linux, so I suspect it's a hardware issue and I can't fix it (If you know better please tell!).

I searched around and found guides to disabling the winkey and its shortcuts. I remapped the winkey to nothing in the Registry, and disabled the winkey shortcuts. The winkey doesn't open the start menu anymore, but whenever I press L, U, P or the arrows inside a window, the shortcuts still work (those are the only letter shortcuts that still work, winkey+D, for example, doesn't work anymore).

How can I completely get rid of the winkey shortcuts?

    Thanks in advance,

    Maria.
