    Hi to all..

A annoying problem about the windows logon..

I reformatted my computer, then a problem disappeared.
But after I updated at Windows Update, the problem re-appeared!
OS is Windows Vista Home Premium.
The problem is about the windows logon.
I have two account users, then the accounts doubled!

    After the windows update!
It shows 4 accounts two each user.
    Its very annoying!
And im pretty sure, that its from the windows update.
How do i fix this problem/bug?

Please check my screenshot of my problem here, thanks!:

  • Hi

I haven't seen this problem reported for a long time. Last year it was common.

The duplicate user icons on the login screen are due to misbehaving software/drivers that are installed for a Fingerprint Reader device. The problem was seen most often on systems with the OmniPass fingerprint reader software installed.

Here is a link to to their support website.

If the fingerprint reader came pre-installed on the computer, I would recommend that you contact the computer maker for a fix.

    Hope this helps.
