Outlook 2016 email pop-up notifcations

    Question

  • The only pop-up notification I receive when an email comes in, is from Windows 10 itself - the black pop-up notification in the right hand corner.

I want the notification to come directly from Outlook instead (like in the older versions), as it comes through quicker.

Is there a way to do this?

Would appreciate it, if anyone has an answer!

    Many thanks and kind regards,

    Marc.

  • Hi Marc,

Actually, the Outlook new email desktop alert depends on the Windows notifications on Windows 10.

Could you provide a screenshot about the pop-up notification so that we can understand the issue more clearly? If you cannot upload images in this forum currently, you can share one to us via OneDrive.

I'm looking forward to your response.

  • Thanks for responding Steve.

Yes, it won't let me submit an image.

Please find link for two images, one for the W10 notification, which I don't want to use and the other, the Outlook notification, which is the one I want to use.
