Question

Hello,
I have Windows 7 X 64 and I am experiencing the same problems as "love..girl" in her June 19 2011 question.
I can't delete audio files in WMP that are no longer available in my PC?
I tried the solution offered by Tim De Baets to love..girl but there is no such file as "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service" in my "Services" folder? I have the french version but nothing comes even close to it?
Wher do I go from here?
Thank you for your help.

Hello Tim,
I finally found the service file: it is named "Service Partage réseau du Lecteur Windows Media" in the french version of Windows.
It's a good thing I did since I could not delete the file "Media Player" otherwise.
All is well now.
Thank you for your help.

If you can't find that service then you can simply proceed to the next step for resetting the media library.
